It's in the beautiful Regent's College campus, surrounded by 500 acres of Regent's Park yet only 15 minutes from the West End and City of London. 2 tube stations are 5 minutes' walk; easy access from all mainline stations and airports. Excellent state-of-the-art IT centre with 250 networked PCs and Macs and extensive opening hours; internet and email for all students; Janet and CD-Rom available. Tennis, basketball, multigym and sauna on campus. Truly international in flavour, with 80+ nationalities represented in the student body. Few mature students. The small size makes EBS personal and friendly. Courses are intensive, all involve at least 1 foreign language and a minimum of 48 weeks' work experience in at least 3 countries; strong emphasis on developing personal, leadership and networking skills alongside teamwork. Result is 100% employment rate and graduates further their careers in international business around the globe. Students' union is mainly social, organising eg trips to theatre; also counselling service and active football and basketball teams.
Housing: Expensive: single, double and triple rooms, all full-board. Accommodation office helps find off-campus housing. Eats: School refectory - good food, great variety, nice surroundings, reasonable prices (meal £2-£5). Also restaurant and a coffee/lunch bar on campus. Drink: School bar - nice, panelled and reasonable prices (£1.80 a pint). Nightlife: Student centre organises theatre trips, etc. One of the most exciting cities is at your feet. Sports: On-campus tennis courts (2 grass, 1 hard), fitness centre, basketball court. Football pitches in Regent's Park. Jobs: About 5% work part-time in term (most get sufficient funding from parents or corporate sponsorship); limited number of casual jobs on campus. Approx 25% work placements are paid. Informal name: EBS. Best features: Location; international student body. And worst: Too many mobile phones.
